Piotr Morgwai Kotarbiński posted a new comment: as I understand that's because the header of the stock ubuntu package (4:0.5.1-1ubuntu1.1) was modified to be higher than medibuntu one (4:0.5.1-1ubuntu1+medibuntu1). It allows you to install security update, but you are loosing medibuntu goodies.
