installed a fresh Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS x86_64 i added the medibuntu repos like mentioned: wget http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/`lsb_release -cs`.list --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list && apt-get -q update && apt-get --yes -q --allow-unauthenticated install medibuntu-keyring && apt-get -q update After that i tried to install libavcodec-extra-52. The medibuntu packages was not used because because version of libavcodec-extra-52 in original Ubuntu is slightly newer. (10.04.3 vs. 10.04.2) I tried to install the package libavcodec-extra-52_0.5.9-0ubuntu0.10.04.2+medibuntu1_amd64.deb manually which was successful but leads to package conflicts: root@ubuntu65456465:~# apt-get upgrade Paketlisten werden gelesen...
