I love this topic! As someone who has been the designated super user, more times than I can count, without any compensation, recognition, or fanfare directed toward me (in my past life!) the SU role really needs to be planned, encouraged, and compensated.
And.....I would tend to think....for those facilities that don't encourage and compensate super users.....they may eventually lose them to the consulting world!

from somewhere I am sure) You think Education is expensive.... How much more expensive is the
lack???
