Hi Everyone, We are a Canadian Magic 5.5 site that is moving forward with Meditechs PCM module. We are finding that the EMR ID's (for Clinical Review) we are expected to map to our current report names in Lab modules, are not quite matching to our satisfaction. We have discussed this with Meditech, and it seems the options are: 1. to change our current report names/abbreviations to the EMR ID. Those of you who know the lab modules will realize that this will change all non-archived reported results...so not a great option. 2. Submit a list to of unmappables to Meditech for comment, approval and creation. We are trying to adhere to our CAP (College of American Pathologists) and OLA (Ontario Laboratory Accreditation) standards, listed below. Meditech has mentioned there is another Canadian site that has gone LIVE with PCM-Clinical Review--if you are out there, could you please comment on how you managed the EMR ID's. Comments from all welcome as to how you were able to make EMR ID's adhere to any state/provincial requirements that you must follow.
