We are still evaluating which one. Respiratory is trialing tablet PC as portable devices.   We are using the Metrologic Focus tethered scanner and it is working great. Metrologic had to develop some custom logic for us to be able to parse the NDC number correctly but that was accomplished prior to our go live. The scanner is working like a charm and we are using Data Matrix as well as RSS, RSS stacked, linear and maybe others. For those who are already live with BMV, what medcarts and barcoding equipment are you using?? Do you use a med dispensing machine?? What process do you use for med passing when it is only 1 med to be given to 1 patient.
