We use the 3 M encoder product and have been having problems with the latest version issue. We have always passed our professional fee revenue codes through the coder for Out patient Medicare and this has never been an issue. With this new version it is rejecting the account and giving a No APC error and does no calculation. Since we create many revenue reports utilizing abstracting we are reluctant to discontinue the sending of the codes into abstracting but do not want them going into the encoder. Is anyone else having this same issue? If so, what have you done to rectify the problem? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.
