Hi Roberta,

I have implemeted a process at a few sites where the charge floors correct
their own rejections every morning, based on a series of NPR reports that we
created that can be run by the individual departments. That allows each
charge area to look at only their errors, and to be more accountable for
their own revenue.

The Billing department oversees the process, and follows up with departments
if they fall behind.

Take care,

Set the BAR Journals to your days limit.... doesn't stop the charge from
going to B/AR, but will stop it being posted to accounts.

I think we're working on an NPR report to be mailed via MOX to the users
responsible for correcting B/AR rejections (by Journals). Sorry, wasn't my
project, but this is what we're considering.

Our BAR wants to prevent charges from crossing to them automatically
after
5 days. We can prevent this in OE with a parameter setting, but LAB,
RAD,
PHA, OR charges can cross whenever they are entered. BAR wants this to
be
a manual process after the 5 days. Anybody else dealing with late
charges
in an innovative way?
