Perot Systems Corporation has an opening for a Senior Meditech Specialist.
This is a regular full time home based (virtual) position and may be based
anywhere in the continental US. Regular travel is required.
Responsibilities include: participating and eventually leading
implementation projects including implementation of complete systems, new
modules, upgrades, and new functionalities, working as part of a large team
supporting Meditech applications across a large healthcare delivery
environment with multiple locations, communicating with networking and
desktop support teams as well as end users, and analyzing Meditech related
system problems and issues and identifying and implementing solutions in
cooperation with Meditech Inc, other team members and end users.
Requirements include: a minimum of two years implementation or level 2 or 3
support experience with Meditech Magic or Client Server applications and
healthcare operations experience in one or more clinical departments or
similar experience. The RN, RPh, MT ASCP, CPhT or similar certification is
a plus.
