Hi Renee

        Try this

AL D "X"^XCOL[XQUERY["BMOUT01"]]
AL AFTER.D ""^XCOL[XQUERY["BMOUT01"]]

where XQUERY is the field name that holds the response of your query ie:
@ADM.PAT.ccdqr.response

then three computed fields

xx.col.01
DAT=FREE
JFY=C
LEN=10
VAL=XCOL["UE"]

xx.col.02
DAT=FREE
JFY=C
LEN=10
VAL=XCOL["M"]

xx.col.03
DAT=FREE
JFY=C
LEN=10
VAL=XCOL["NFF"]

PICTURE

                User Error Mech Error No Fault
                xx.col.01               xx.col.02               xx.col.03

Hope this Helps
Ken

If someone can help me with this npr question, I'd really appreciate it.
I'm working on a report that I want the response of a query to print in it's
appropriate column on the report. Ex. user error mechanical error no
fault
                                                                     X
X               X
The name of my query is BMOUT01 and the responses could be UE, M or NFF.
Thanks in advance.
