You could create a dummy entry in the drug dictionary to do this or just bill it on the other end.

Just wondering if anyone has figured out a way with a rule in Pharmacy to automatically charge the "prep fee" that MCR is allowing for IVIG in 2006 as well as the drug  when the drug is ordered in Pharmacy? We've tried a charge code that explodes on the B/AR side, but that didn't work as it takes the quantity from Pharmacy for the original procedure code and therefore charges more than one.) Any ideas or is everyone just entering the 2 separately for now as we are (the payment is only for this year, but we don't want to miss any. J)? I searched the archives and didn't find anything specific about this.
