Hi All,
We are looking to schedule withholdings. Currently, we have open
enrollment in December. Employees have to have their information to us by
the last week of December and then we have a 3 day window to enter the
information so it takes affect on the first pay period in January. I would
like to be able to:
1. Put an end date on a benefit-for example if an employee drops their
dental coverage, put an end date of 12/31/05
2. Put a future date-If we know someone has signed up for a plan December
that begins January 1-we would like to put a start date of 1/1/06 and leave
the end date blank-then have the option to put in an end date if they end
the benefit for the year after.
3. We like to schedule pay increases-so the first day of each month, we
could put in all the pay increases with their effective dates.

Has anyone done this? Are there any problems I should be aware of? We are
testing this in 5.5 SR2 Also, if you have a schedule in your department of
when you make these changes, could you share it? Our HR is very busy and I
would like to make their process more organized.

Thanks
