Bill, we use Access Eforms (www.accesseforms.com), and with it, you can specify in that report only the fields you want to print to your forms (in your case labels). It basically "grabs" the fields, and places that variable/value on the form where you want it. You can also create sub-forms which can be pasted to a form, so if you change a sub-form (good example being a logo/header) it flows to every form you have it attached to automatically. We have our labels/wristbands set up as subforms, which we print on every form. This also allows you to use graphics on your forms as well. In reality, you could write a "master" NPR report out of a DPM (ADM in this case), and then map only the fields you want to transfer to the form, and making it even easier, you can create the "project" so that you have multiple forms, and add logic to that project to print only certain forms based on the data (i.e. print the Tricare form ONLY if the financial class is Champus, etc). Feel free to call. The meditech-l web site is MTUsers.com ====================================== Magic 5.4 Site We want to hear from other hospitals concerning your process of printing mother/father/baby wristbands. We are looking at using 1 sheet that has all three labels on it. From our setup and from what I am hearing from Meditech, there is no way that the Admitting module is going to recognize that is should be printing a different NPR report for the wristbands. So how are other sites printing something like this out? The only thing we can come up with is linking to this NPR report outside of the standard registration process and printing it that way. Does anyone else have a better process? Thanks. William Baldwin IT Director Ashe Memorial Hospital IMPORTANT NOTICE!
