Hi Amy, I can see a problem with this since dispositions and conditions come from a dictionary that we create and our mnemonics may not match yours. The meditech-l web site is MTUsers.com ====================================== Hi there, In EDM when completing the Discharge Information, the physician enters The Date/Time, The Discharge Disposition, The Discharge Dx, Comment, and Condition. With 90% of our Discharge Dispositions being DHOM for HOME, The condition will always be Stable for all the DHOM patients. The physician would like as soon as they enter in DHOM for the condition of Stable to default in. We have asked Meditech if this would be possible, their response was only as a custom. Would anyone else benefit from this custom? I have entered in a MIX request, and if you feel this might benefit your facility, please feel free to update my MIX request in hopes that this request will become standard. The MIX request number is: MIX #4720018 Thank you, Amy J.
