We've just implemented E-signature for LSS, via PWM, in our Residency program's clinic. This requires setting up the co-sign feature in Meditech's Doctor Dictionary. Now, if the Resident orders an Outpatient Service at the hospital, OE Enter Care Orders is not allowing the Resident to be the Ordering Doctor. An error box appears, states co-signature required. The <enter> key then acts on the Ordering Dr field entered by removing it from Order Dr to Other Prv. We need the Residents to be the Ordering Dr, and if necessary the Supervising Physician to be the Other Prv. Has anyone had problems like this in OE? How did you resolve?
