There might be multiple devices set up for that PC in Meditech OPS, so when you log onto Meditech you could be getting a device not defined in your LIS. If you do a lookup in OPS E/E Devices, you should see all devices for your PC MISLADY1314. The devices would be MISLADY1314.1, MISLADY1314.2, MISLADY1314.3, etc. You may just need to make sure all these devices are entered in your LIS Device Dict. Hope this helps. This problem has occurred in the past where the IT guys assured me that they did not change anything manually. I gave them the benefit of the doubt then. Last week it happened again which I reported to MEDITECH. They told me that they never heard this problem before and was advised to wait till it happens again.
