Do any of you Pharmacy gurus have any suggestions how to enter a Dilaudid PCA into Meditech and how to bill for it? We are going to be making our own Dilaudid PCA vials and we are struggling with the best way to set it up so it displays and bills correctly. It will be made using a 20 ml multi-dose vial of Dilaudid and normal saline. The resulting PCA will have 6mg/30ml. Since the drug form isn’t available yet, there is no NDC number. Has anyone done this, or something similar to this? Would you be willing to send screen shots of your drug dictionary? Would you be willing for us to contact you by phone with questions?
