We have 2 loaner laptops locked on Stinger carts that we give to
patients upon request (if there are no infection control issues with the
patient).
We also have a separate segment on our wireless LAN that anyone with a
wireless device can use to connect to the internet. It does not hit our
internal network but does have its own web content-filtering software
set up the same as our hospital's. We have patients, patient families,
and vendors that find this very useful.
