Thank you so much for your imput! YES on the screen
shots would be wornderful! Also, could you please post to the L because
I've had several mails requesting that I do that. We are
Magic.
Our RT's have specific CDS in place for documenting via
PDA, we built them for the shift to PALMCARE. We really love the Iatrics
Palmcare product. Do not care for Palm customer service. This is
part of the reason for the shift to POC.
Thanks bunches! From: Tara Mcnamara [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, March 17, 2006 5:12 AM To: Jeanne Cameron Subject: RE: [MEDITECH-L] Meditech's Point of Care I used
to Market it, so I can give you
some information. The good-it is much better than the old DG handhelds because
you can enter free text and it is in real time-no downloading and uploading. It
uses a pen to document with drop down menus and I think it would be good for RTs
and CNAs who have smaller CDSs to fill out. It also contains a mini status board
which is nice. What I don’t like about it is that it does not respect attributes
on the screens or if you are C/S, it does not respect calculations. You also
can’t document medications on it yet. Would you like some screen
caps? Tara McNamara MT (ASCP) Meditech Analyst Rehabilitation Hospital of the Cape and
