I'm with a recruiting firm based in the Dallas area, and my focus is Healthcare Information Systems and Clinical Informatics. I'm currently searching for an independent consultant to serve as a Meditech Lab Clinical Analyst on a project that will start as soon as possible and will continue into the summer of next year. This will be an implementation of Clinician Order Entry for inpatient lab orders and printing of specimen-specific lab labels. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing and implementation of EMR to Meditech Lab Orders interface, and will also be experienced in testing and implementation of capability to print specimen-specific lab labels from EMR to Meditech Lab Orders interface. Must have understanding of inpatient lab operations, clinical terminology, and workflow processes. Experience with Epic order entry and lab interface is a plus. The candidate will: analyze the requirements for generating lab labels from Epic to Meditech interface hold meetings with key team members to define requirements and document issues and decisions participate in the testing process assist in developing end user training for the training team coordinate go-live provide interface operations support during and after go-live assist in training to transfer operations support to customer service Can anyone refer me to a good match?
