Marc - Over the years, I have heard over and over how bad Meditech is for outpatient use. We don't use it except for a few outpatient areas. I would stick with QS1 if you have any volume at all.

Hello,

We are currently in the process of implementing the Meditech system throughout our 380+ bed hospital (one facility)..

In addition to servicing inpatient needs, we also have many retirees/volunteers that we fill outpatient prescriptions for, using the QS/1 service. We want to completely get away from using QS/1 and use only Meditech for our outpatient needs. We do not do any 3rd party billing.

My question is: What is the most efficient way in Meditech to go about doing this? Can any of you L-ers shed some light or point in the right direction? Thank you all.

Regards,

Marc
