Meditech sells an NMI interface package which includes 1) ADT & Orders
Out and 2) Reports & Image Link IN.

We set this up about a year ago and it works great. When choosing an
EKG report to view in PCI it asks if you want to view the image and
launches a viewer to look at the strip. We also have our Stentor PACS
system set up the same way.

Hello,

Below is the response I received to the PIC Viewer to GE MUSE EKG
System.

I want to point out that we do have this working in our system but not
the way we hoped. In PCI we have a Non-Magic Datasource displaying on
the patient's TOC Menu. When the user accesses it brings to the MUSE
EKG and there the person can select any EKG they wish to view.

We hoped to have the strip linked up to the report but there was no way
of doing this.

The result we do have though works very well and we're happy with it.
There are still a few things being worked out like the toolbar in MUSE
EKG doesn't exist when accessing from Meditech PCI but the results are
available to be viewed, which is a good thing.

Thanks.

Kim -
We have a Non-Meditech Data Source (NMDS) on our PCI TOC screen called
Cardiology Waveforms, which links, via a program that Iatrics wrote for
us, to the Muse server. It is positioned just below the Cardiology
Departmental Reports. The same information that is on the Reports in on
the EKG, so most
physicians just look at the EKG. They are arranged from most recent to
oldest. Any other questions, please let me know.
Thanks,
Pat
