Hi Tristan, Pharmacy prints the Expired list and gives them to the Unit Sec who runs after the docs. The paper is then faxed to Pharmacy. Also, our programmer modified our MAR where it prints a comment after the medication 24-48 hours before it expires so nursing will be reminded as well. We are using custom NPR for our renewal forms and we are having some difficulty with the process of the physicians actually signing and renewing the medications. Does anyone else use a similar process and have better luck or if you do not have the same process what are you doing that works?
