SwedishAmerican Health System is expanding its Information Systems
staff and currently has a position available for a qualified Registered Nurse
to work as a Clinical Systems Analyst. This analyst will be responsible for the overall maintenance and/or new
implementation of clinical modules including but not limited to nursing, PCI,
and Emergency Department Management in collaboration with other team members.
Future plans include the implementation of e-MAR and Bedside Medication
Verification, monitor interfaces into NUR, and, eventually, Physician Order
Management. A Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a
related health field, previous experience with Meditech’s HCIS, and at
least two years of clinical experience is preferred. The candidate must
possess good communication, personal, and analytical and problem solving
skills. Previous project management experience is a plus. The ability to
manage several projects simultaneously and to work independently is required. SwedishAmerican is a not-for profit, locally governed healthcare system
