Title: Co-sign for POM

I am responding to your questions about co signature and POM.  I just recently left an HCA facility using POM and we had one Rehab doctor that would have to co-sign for his NP.  I was able to determine that the orders were not queuing up correctly for the doctor after the NP had changed the order.  I tested and tasked this up to Meditech, but was never able to get a resolution prior to my leaving.  If you review the audit trail on the order it did not go to his queue for e-sign even though the nurse practioner was prompted for a responsible party.   This problem particularly occurred if is a change order, not "new order".  This doctor had to manually sign several hundreds of orders to resolve issue.
