Hi Barry
We use C/s 5.3 SR6. We have done this here. It requires taht you set
up a
device in the Universe as Generic for the embosser. In our environment, we
have two separate drivers on the same embosser. If the user wishes to print
using the the normal Meditech processes it uses the normal driver, if they
want to print using the NPR report, they use the Generic Driver.
You do have to send all the control characters for the embosser when
using
the NPR Report.

Does anyone know of a way to print a NPR report to an embosser.
Basically I want to print admission information onto an embosser card.
Has anyone ever done this ? Can it be done ?
