We just got OE DTS 10280 that does the following with doses edited in POM: The system will now follow these guidelines when the dose is edited via POM: - From a zero dose to non-zero dose: all pre-existing dose instructions will be removed - From a zero dose to a zero dose: all pre-existing dose instructions will be removed - From a non-zero dose to a zero dose: all pre-existing dose instructions will be removed - From a non-zero dose to a non-zero dose: all pre-existing dose instructions will remain - From a zero dose to a zero dose with taper schedule (1st taper dose is zero dose): all pre-existing dose instructions will remain - From a zero dose to a non-zero dose with taper schedule (1st taper dose is non-zero dose): all pre-existing dose instructions will be removed Our physicians do not understand zero dose orders and we are having a hard time with this. They do not want to leave the zero in the field. In the past, it was okay because the dose instructions were still there. Now they are removed if they change the zero.
