The MUSE International conference is quickly approaching and I look forward to leading the LTC group sessions along with meeting other MT users and sharing ideas in sunny Orlando.
I am looking for a few Show and Tell presentations for the group which might offer help to other Long-Term Care facilities to enhance their Meditech use or perhaps guide others in beginning a LTC project.
If you are willing to share your experience (good or bad) with your implementation and continued use within Meditech LTC, please step up. One function we have not put in place is the MDS within Meditech and I would be very interested in how this is working for others. Another area we did not implement is the integrated pharmacy for LTC. Are there sites that are using these functions who would share with the group?
We have had Meditech in our acute care facility for six years and last October implemented our Nursing Home/ Rehab facility with integration to the acute facility. I will be sharing our experience with this integration and some of the areas we found to be challenges . Also, if you have any suggestions or requests for information regarding the LTC modules, please send them to me.
