Absolutely - I say think outside the box and have the physicians use PCI.
If you make it more "user friendly" for entry to MEDS WITH ADMINS and clean
up the screens so to limit the number of choices at first entry, the end
user will be much happier.

What's next - printing out daily labs for the docs as well? :-)
Best of luck - Kevin.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Chart MAR with BMV

What is everyone using for the printed MAR that is put in the chart for the
docs to view.  We tried not printing and gave them a “snapshot” of what the
pt is on and has received in the last 24 hours along with the home meds but
that is not meeting their needs.

Do you print a MAR that has only the meds that were administered since we
are printing after the fact and not a mar to be hand documented on which
would need all of the meds that were ordered.  Do we need to think ”outside
the box” on this?   Thanks in advance.
