We have a workaround for this AND... there apparently is a "free" enhancement
that I have been trying to get that will populate the dictator's TBS list
FIRST. A hospital in Wisconsin has it, their task # DPT #3241191 (Jul 22, 2002).

My work around is a report section, after the header, before the body of the
report, it is NOT on the final report..
with this canned text

Unless YOU are the practitioner listed below.... do NOT sign this report.

Dictating Practitioner: [f rep inv dict dr]
                                Report status: [f rep st]

This issue is being sent for Terri Lee to Meditech-L:

We are encountering difficulty with populating the correct signature queue when
a report has been dictated by a midlevel and needs a co-signature.  The problem
is that when a midlevel is placed as the dictator the report goes to the
midlevel's queue for e-signature along with all of the physicians who have
access to e-sign for one another.  Whichever physician e-signs the report first
will remove the report in each physician's e-sign queue.  A problem with this
is that the physician who e-signs the report may not necessarily be the
physician who treated the patient and should not be co-signing the report.  Has
anyone been able to circumvent this issue and still have physicians who can
sign for one another?

Thank you,
Terri Lee
