Hi Gladys- You can pull in CDSs thru the PHA.RX DPM, but I would really think about the implications before printing these types of entries to a paper MAR. If and when you get to the electronic version (the eMAR), then the Pharmacy will have to enter those orders as a Pharmacists myself I can say - thats nuts. My situation is nursing has a CDS where simple wounds/treatment/time of treatment are being documented on. However, nurses are also documenting this in the MAR. We want to avoid double documentation. Nursing would like to only document this info in the MAR. This is no problem for those treatments that are entered and come from PHA such as ointments, salves--problem is the nonmed type treatment such as wet to dry dressing,etc. If I make wet to dry dressing a NUR order,is it possible to pull that into the MARusing custom report.
