MEDITECH-L users: I have a Coulter HMX now running on a 3-Com server. We are in the process of converting all of our 3-Com's to the Xyplex 1620's. We are utilizing a "short network" converter cable as part of the conversion to the Xyplex 1620. The HMX is a Bidirectional interface. So far, I have performed "8" successful watches on other LAB instruments utilizing the converter cable. The HMX is the only instrument that I have been unsuccessful with in utilizing the converter cable. We have switched the converter cable just in case we possibly had a bad cable. The end result being the same each time. I am getting a light on the port when the instrument is connected to the Xyplex but NO DATA on the watch. If anyone out there in L-Land has any experience with the Xyplex 1620 and the Coulter HMX instrument, any information would be greatly appreciated.
