Jack, we looked into several different options when we decided to get rid of our Genicom printers and ultimately decided on Access e-Forms (www.accesseforms.com) with an HP Laserjet printer. We use a MICR cartridge, the signature is embedded on the document and we also purchased a folder/sealer. What used to take at least 8 hours to process (print, sign, fold, stuff, and sort) now takes less than 1 hour. It was VERY easy to set up and implement. We use Access e-Forms hospital wide for Forms Automation. We love it. Let me know if you have any additional questions. The meditech-l web site is MTUsers.com ====================================== We are Magic 5.4.3, currently still printing our payroll checks to an old Genicom serial printer which we need to get rid of. We'd like to hear what other sites are doing to laser-print and then sign their payroll checks.
