Hello folks As a follow up to my partner's posting: We went LIVE with 5.5 SR2 on Wednesday. Since that point in time, we have had other response time issues, as well as the ones noted in Teri's response below. These include: >From PCS, loading patients by a location takes a significantly longer time to >pull up the list. In addition, Meditech tells me if the list of patients is >very long, "blank" patient lines will appear because the names of the patients >don't load. They either have, or are working on a DTS for this. The Process All Orders in ITS takes four or five times as long to load as it did in SR1. There is already a DTS for this: RAD 2995 POM is slower loading screens, even slower than SR1. As Teri stated, Meditech is, at some level, aware of the issues and is coding several fixes which we hope will alleviate the hang time. >>> "Teri Young-Hise" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 04/12/06 10:07AM >>> All messages should be posted in plain text. We are not live with the PCS status board or the documentation so I can't speak to that. As for POM, we have had several issues with procedure orders sitting as a "blank" window for 10-20 seconds before the contents of the prcoedure order are pulled in. The good news is that MT was able to reproduce this in their inhouse ring and are working to reproduce in standard. We have also had word that there are 11 DTS's out there to address a variety of these issues. We have also experienced the screens hanging after clicking on submit in POM. The only option is to kill the session and start again. That we can't replicate but it continues to happen to our users sporadically. We will wait to see what these changes bring. Have a good day. On 4/6 we received a request for a conference call from Meditech and they informed us that they were calling sites soon to implement 5.5 to inform them of issues with POM/PCS. The issues they informed us of: 1. Issues with load time when entering the "ordering provider" in POM and possibly other "loading" issues in POM. Fixes for these issues are in the testing phase at a Beta site. 2. Issues with load time when launching the eMAR - they are working on a fix for this. 3. Issues with load time with the status board that will NOT be fixed because it is the design of the system to load all the patient data up front and once in the status board the user will have access to much more patient data What Meditech denied in our conference call is that there are "global" issues with response time when in filing PCS and POM. I have heard from other sites LIVE with 5.5 that there are response issues with filing (especially in PCS). We opened a task with Meditech back in March to address concerns that I had reports of from other sites and they deny there are problems with filing. We decided to delay our go-live because we are LIVE with POM/PCS and the eMAR and did not want to take any chances. I would like feedback from other sites that are LIVE with 5.5: 1. Do you have response time issues when filing assessments in PCS? 2. Do you have response time issues when filing orders in POM? 3. Is Meditech working on these issues? or is it network/hardware issues? I would appreciate any feedback - from sites with problems and from sites that are LIVE with 5.5, SR2, use PCS/POM/eMAR and do NOT have response issues.
