======================================

Kevin,

We've signed up on the new site and are very hopeful for it, but I don't see on
the site anything about the group hosting. I did go to your website and assume
you are Kevin Boldt, RN, BSc.
What kind of commitment are you making to this site - I think a brief intro to
the Meditech - L would be appreciated by all.

Thanks,

functionality

Hi Marianne,

We have formed a new Meditech online user community that went live on April 6,
at http://www.meditechtalk.com to take care of some of the very needs you
discussed in your request.

We are building forums for every module, and also have free chat rooms,
articles, etc. For instance, if you would like to meet as a user group, we
could create a web chat room on our site to accomodate your needs. It will be
available 24/7, and will be free for all of your users.

Come visit us! http://www.meditechtalk.com

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] POM, PCS, MPM,EDM Med Reconciliation using MT
functionality

Hi, I'm wondering if there are any sites out there that would like for form an
offiline working group for a short time that would allow us to get together on
conference calls and hash out med reconciliation using Meditech functionality
where possible.  It seems almost possible to do this but a bit ackward since MT
did not design with that in mind.  We could give our feedback collectively to
MT.

We are a POM site going up with MPM and PCS in the summer.  We plan to install
EDM next year.

I see the Discharge/AOM/Profile meds potential but it's just a bit ackward
(e.g. on admission, the users in POM or nurses entering home meds should click
Discharge and enter/edit any home meds, make them active scripts (only active
scripts, not profile meds, seem be available to convert to IP meds) but don't
have them print or  go anywhere, go back to POM and click continue from AMB,
convert any meds from the home meds list that they are going to be on in the
hospital, add any new meds)

If there is anyone out there who followed that stream and knows a better way to
do this or wants to figure it out togther, I'd love to get together to hash it
out.  I would set up the calls etc.
