We had the problem before where nurses will leave the Allergy fields
blank. It's been incorporated in our Admission Assessment and we just
made it required. We didn't really have many problems since unless it's
registry personnel who did the Admission Assessment and they do it on
paper. We do have a warning message in OE if the Allergy fields are not
answered in the Admin Data.

Does anyone have a rule written in OE or NUR that would prevent
nurses/unit
secretaries
from entering orders/charting until Allergies are defined on the
Administrative Data
screen?
