I am requesting any information available on the ECDS
EmpowER System. It is advertised as an ED Documentation system, but it
seems to be a complete comprehensive ED information system. They came and
demoed their system and it looks good on the outside and they claim their
system to be a direct competitor for Meditech's own EDM module and to be
the number 1 vendor for ED systems integrated with Meditech. Everyone
liked what they saw, but after 20 years in this business, first of all, nothing
is as good as the salesmen say it is and I've learned to discount sales talk
by 50%. I do, however, place an extremely high value on your
comments. Please let me know if you have any info, comments, etc. on this
