======================================

I have just replaced about 18 dec 700 term servers, which were always rock
solid with digiservers. They are very economical (aka cheap) they go for
about 100 dollars a port for the lower models and around a 1000 for the 16
port . With the exception of an outbound modem, I had very little trouble
getting all my devices to work, About 15 lab instruments and 50 terminals,
printers, and async pc's. The 4400 series and 38 series genicoms had to have
some settings changed and the twelve function data general terminals need to
have a special cable built about an hours work. The real problem was getting
the adapters made for the servers. I received the last adapters the day
before I had to go live. They came from a company in Colorado. . The product
was ok once it got here but it seemed they didn't appreciate how I needed
them on time. Just be very careful with them when you get their "first
article". They both of us missed that what was documented as male was
actually a female adapter, put me way behind on receiving my adapters. Their
name is CCX Corporation in Lafayette Co. Any questions feel free to call me
