In MAGIC, while you are in a section of a DPT report where you can enter text,
you can:
1. Hit <GET>
2. Enter 'P'<SPACE><LOOKUP> and you will get the DIRECTORY, FILENAME dialogue
box that allows
you to specify the PC FILE you wish to upload into your report.
We have used this method for years to import Pulmonary Function Test reports
without using an interface.

Pasting each file in is very cumbersome. I know that the
window client-server version has an automatic way of pulling
in word files into meditech based on requisition number and
some other tags. I am wondering if Magic also has that
facility. Would you know if that is the case?
Thanks,
Vijay
