A further explanation of my OT-related question has been requested.
Within the hand evaluation the Occupational Therapist reviews 5
functions for each hand. With each patient result they include a normal
value. Each of the normal values change based on sex, age (increments
of 5 years up to age 75), and hand dominance.
For example the normal for Grip for a right-hand dominant patient would
be as follows:
Sex Age Normal Normal
(Right hand) (Left hand)
Male 20-25 121 104.5
Male 25-30 120.8 110.5
Male 30-35 121.8 110.4
Female 20-25 70.4 61
Female 25-30 74.5 63.5
Female 30-35 78.7 68
I think this requires a macro since the variables would overwhelm the
number of characters within a CDS "IFE" attribute.
Does this explain the situation better? Is the OT request a
possibility?
