Hi all!  I hope you are all having a great day.  We are actively searching for just the right person to fill an opening in our IT department for the Technical Manager.  This individual will oversee all IT technical tasks and projects.  They will need to have superb project management skills, be very organized, be able to lead as well as be very proactive and ambitious.  This individual will manage a group of 4 IT technical specialists.  This is a new position for our department.  If anyone is interested in this position, please feel free to contact me directly.  You can also obtain more information from our hospital website at www.johnstonmemorial.org.  Johnston Memorial Hospital is located in Smithfield, NC which is approximately 30 miles east of Raleigh, NC.  We are a 175 licensed bed hospital with plans to expand to a 200 bed facility within the next few years.  We are growing quickly.  Consequently, the IT needs and requirements are jumping leaps and bounds.    Also, we are interested in knowing the salary ranges for such a position at other hospitals.  If you’d be willing to share that information, we’d greatly appreciate your feedback.  Our budgeted salary for this new position is $24-$36/hour based upon experience.   Posting on our website for position: MIS Data Manager Minimum of Associate Degree with emphasis in computer science or a related field, prefer 4 year degree and at least 5 years supervisory experience; Strong background in system security; Strong analytical, project management, critical, technical, and logical thinking skills.
