Belinda,
The IFE attribute determines if the cursor will stop at the query it is
on. But, by making the queries required all the time when you build the
screen, you can easily set up a scenario where the cursor can't stop at
the query but the query is required, especially if you have it required
immediately you could get into a locked situation. But, even if not
required immediately you will get locked when you go to file. Here is
the solution. Take off the Required from the screen builder and put
this attribute on both queries:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]"REG ER" 1;""}
[EMAIL PROTECTED]"REG ER"

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] attributes on CDS

I am trying to write an attribute that is attached to a CDS. Both
queries
have been set up as required. When I attached the attribute
[EMAIL PROTECTED]"REG ER" to both queries, the screen locks up.
If I add the query attribute to the date query or time query, it works
well,
just not to both queries.

Can you put the same attribute on more than 1 query on a CDS?

My objective is to require a response for all inpatient units but is not
required if ordered in the .ER
