In response to a couple of queries posted recently regarding passing data from Meditech to Kronos I have attached an NPR report I wrote to extract and format the data required for Kronos. The report is scheduled to run daily at 3AM to a spool file which FTP's the file to the Kronos server. A scheduled task picks up and imports the file nightly. There is an error log that HR reviews each morning which occassionally will reflect an error if a table on the Kronos side has not been updated. We continue to calculate and manage benefit time accruals in Meditech. The values are passed in the file each night, Kronos only updates them bi-weekly which is our payroll cycle.
