Subject: RE: [MEDITECH-L] eMAR with Pharmacy IV Compounder (Abacus)

We use Baxter IV compounder which provides a TPN label.

We also enter the TPN in Meditech for charging by the 100 ml increments, this
appears on the
eMar.  We also put the Meditech label on the back of the TPN bag, which has a
barcode for
scanning.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] eMAR with Pharmacy IV Compounder (Abacus)
For those pharmacies that are using IV compounder software(i.e.
Baxa-Abacus or Baxter-Multitask) to enter TPNs; how are you getting the
orders to appear on Meditech's eMAR?

Thanks,
