We utilize bridgehead for all our backups, including Meditech Magic, Meditech C/S, windows, file servers, exchange, SQL. We did price it out and it is very favourable price-wise with other enterprise level backup systems. I say 'enterprise level' as you need to ensure you compare apples to apples when doing comparison shopping. For example, Veritas Backup Exec is not an enterprise level system and is therefore priced much much lower. You would need to look at veritas netbackup to get closer to an enterprise level system. We are extremely happy with our bridgehead setup. Let me know what else you wish to know.
