Lynn,
Thank you for your input....that's the direction I will pursue...two
separate routines via mini menu.

That way facilities can choose between enter / edit and just enter user
by user basis.

I think I remember hearing that there was an enhancement coming that
changes the routine. Instead of there being an Enter/Edit routine there
would be one Enter routine and another Edit routine. Access would be
restricted via the Option Set and Access dictionaries.

Any one else hear this?

Hello All,
Judging from various responses receive on this issue, there seem to be
three
camps regarding this issue.

a) Users are not aware they can edit their own comments making this
issue a
moot point
b) Users want the functionality of editting their own comments if
comments
are initially entered incorrectly
c) Users want to restrict editting past comments to limit liability
concerns

Sounds like these types of varying opinions would benefit from a Billing

parameter to accommodate all the users needs.

Before entering a MIX request for this system change, would there be
facilities out there that would find this type of parameter enhancement
useful?

Don't want to spend much effort if the desire to use this functionality
is
not there.
