Hello L'ers I am looking for any one who uses the Medinet interface with a reference lab for MIC. In particular I am looking for sites who may have a "custom" where Meditech is sending the Source mnemonic AND the Source Name or Abbreviation in the HL7 outgoing message. I know Meditech is sending the Source mnemonic in OBR segment field 15. I have asked them to also send the Name or the Abbrev. The answer is it needs to be evaluated for a custom. Please let me know if you are a site that has already had this done, as it seems to me someone else would have asked for this. It may cut down on my wait time and my expense.
