Marc, I often use the "internal" numbers (rather than account number or
the mri number) in doing fragments from various modules to others. You
didn't mention which segment you're using in OE.ORD, but for example, if
you're in oe.order, you can use the field "patient" from oe.order to
equate to the field "urn" in the adm.patient.file. Since that urn
happens to be the only subscript for adm.patient.file, you won't need an
index in your fragment, it will be quite fast without. 

I'm writing this without testing this specific fragment, but I do a lot
of frags, and that's what I'd use...Good luck!
