We just went LIVE with Phillips/Stentor PACS and we launch images from
PCI using an interface from Iatric. Once you get through the bugs of
Windows 2000 vs. XP, ActiveX controls, pop-up blockers, local read/write
user permissions.... it works great. The user right-arrows into the
image, the viewer is initialized, and the image comes up. You see the
patient's timeline, can open previous studies, can view reports. It's
pretty slick.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

I have a few questions and was wondering if anyone could give me a few
pointers.
Is anyone using PCI to get to PACS? If so, what system and how does it
work? Do you have to log into the PACS system or does the PCI link go
straight to the proper image?

Thanks,
