We are beginning implementation of Meditech soon and have a question concerning ITS. Right now with our current HIS system the Radiologist dictates a Mammo report, the transcriptionist assigns the mammo report a BIRAD code with triggers a letter to the patient, follow-up letters and automatically keeps stats that are needed for ACR. We will be using Softmed as the Transcription Application with Meditech. My question : How are you triggering these, and is it Automatically triggered or is there Manual Data entry required.
