I am posting this for my boss.

 

 

 


We are considering offering guest Internet access to patients and visitors. We have a secure wireless infrastructure in place to support this; however, I am wondering how other hospitals are handling this from a security and risk perspective. I have a few questions:

 

  1. Do you require guest users to sign a confidentiality statement or complete any other forms?

 

  1. Do you provide any setup support to the guest user?

 

  1. Do you have a policy in place that governs this process?
